Chimney Pollution and the Use of Deflectors

Due to the expansion of materials used for chimney casing construction, these casings are often divided into individual sections - expansion joints. These parts need to be gas-tightly joined, most commonly using compensators. The reconstruction of damaged expansion elements within the chimney's internal duct is a crucial prerequisite for ensuring the long-term lifespan of the chimney. Dysfunctional expansion joints allow exhaust gases to penetrate the interior of the chimney, leading to irreversible damage.
